Background:
Vyers, also know as the "Dark Adonis" or "Beauty Baron" or "Mid-boss". Is what would easily be called the 'reoccuring rival' to one Laharl from Disgaea. No matter how many times he is utterly defeated, embarassed, or humilated, he will just keep coming back for more. Self proclaimed as Laharl's 'rival' to be Overlord, but sadly, he doesn't do that good a job at it most of the time.
For a demon, Vyers is not entirely... demon like. He is more full of himself and arrogant then evil. For a point, he once thanks god for something, which is something any proper demon would never do! Although one thing that is very evil, is he steals a picnic basket from the main cast of the game, and eats it's contents before they can get it back! See, he can be evil when he wants!
Oh yeah, he's also Laharl's dad in a new body. But of course, it's not like anyone would ever believe him if he said that, or if they knew. So in reality, all that bothering of Laharl he did was to test if he was worthy to become Overlord. Which, is still up in the air quite honestly.
Vyers is also, in a word, flamboyant. He is full of himself, eccentric, and will always go out of his way to tell everyone else how fabulous and wonderful he is. This is in part due to the fact that, well, he is. He's pretty, really. However, while he is more then often flaunting, posing, and showing off how wonderful and amazing he is, that doesn't mean he can't be serious! In fact, if the situation truly calls for it, he can completely turn his personality around and show how serious he really is. Whether the eccentric behavior is in an act, or if he's just normally like that however, well... that's not really important, right?
